The newest grant winners are from the University of Western Sydney. Maggie, Adam and the team are working collaboratively with the Australian Industrial Hemp Alliance (AIHA), Edith Cowan university, Colorado State University and hemp mills to research and develop guidance materials for WHS risk when milling hemp.
This project aims to assist small and medium sized companies in this emerging industry to comply with the WHS obligations by providing free, evidence based information about exposures to dusts and the potential health effects.
